  Parco Nazionale della Sila

  It extends between the provinces of Catanzaro, Crotone and Cosenza, a natural heritage characterized by the diversity of landscapes, by the variety of animal and plant species.
  Divided into:

  • Sila Grande: present in the center of the massif, most popular for the numerous winter sports centers but also for the extraordinary beauty of the area, surrounded by the famous Giants of the Sila, secular trees that can reach 40 meters in height, numerous lakes including Lago Cecita , where there is a botanical garden for the visually impaired.
  • Sila Piccola: numerous tourist villages and woods of beech and silver fir, where you can relax on the shores of Lake Ampollino.

  Parco del pollino

  It boasts the highest peaks in southern Italy, surrounded by immense forests of beech, chestnut, Turkey oak covered in moss, mushrooms and aromatic herbs. Populated by the Apennine wolf, the roe deer, the golden eagle, the raven and the black owl. Ideal place for those who love wild and unspoiled nature.
